  4. Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting the network security with ITIL, Cacti, SolarWinds, Checkpoint or any other NMS, ITSM tools, DR tools, Load balancers, security solutions

Job Specification Duties and responsibilities

  1. Projects, configure, implement, and maintain all security platforms and any other related software, such as anti-virus, routers, Anti-SPAM, switches, intrusion detection or intrusion prevention, firewalls, cryptography systems, SIEM, and MDM.
  2. Plan and appraise ongoing assessment of antivirus, application control, firewall, SIEM, VPN, SSL, intrusion detection or intrusion prevention and other network component policies
  3. Guarantee network security best practices are executed through auditing: router, change control, switch, firewall configurations, and monitoring
  4. Undertakes periodic vulnerability testing, and lead remediation projects
  5. Articulates systems and methodologies as well as reply to security-related events and support in remediation effort.
  6. Coordinates and oversee log analysis for company managed services offerings to ensure customer policy and security requirements are met
  7. Maintains network security devices to enable pro-active defence of networks within a managed service SOC environment, providing protective monitoring to multiple commercial customers
  8. Maintains security devices and show practical experience in managing SIEM environments, firewalls, content filters, NIDS, proxy servers, HIPS, and packet capture devices
  9. Maintains and administer smart city & data centre’s networks including but not limited to, the delivery of network planning, design, implementation & optimization services;
  10. Performs installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of customer managed hardware, software and peripheral devices;
  11. Designs computer security architecture and developing detailed cyber security designs;
  12. Prepare and document security related standard operating procedures and protocols;
  13. Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks in the data center;
  14. Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement;
