Stella is currently the Chief Manager Corporate Research, Policy & Strategy at the Konza Technopolis with a clear-cut role and inspiration to showcase Technology as an enabler to drive Kenya into a middle-income country by 2030 while creating jobs and anchoring Konza Technopolis as Africa’s Smartest city of choice

She is a critical-thinking and resourceful strategic management professional with proven experience in leadership of strategic planning, route to market specialist, policy development, communication, business development, sustainability and governance, budget oversight in five industry sectors – NGO, Manufacturing, Retail, Government, Energy and now the IT sector. Her experience is anchored well by her cross-cutting education background in Marketing as Chartered Marketer (MCIM), Certified Accountant (CPA), MBA in Strategic Management and several management courses, always updating her skills with changing macro and microenvironment.

As a renewable energy enthusiast she led largest women in energy programme that has championed the role of renewable energy in bringing in more women in economic value chain. At Kenya Meat Commission as head of Corporate Affairs, Sales and Marketing she managed the turnaround of the company leading to the highest sales ever achieved since re-opening through leading innovative Agreements between Kenya and Middle East, working in partnership with the Ministry of foreign affairs, earning her national recognition. She drove government policy for local purchase of meat by entities thereby improving local standards and opening up lucrative deals with Kenyatta National hospital, Universities and Canned meat for the defence forces

At Bamburi Cement she rose to be Customer service manager where she introduces ground breaking policies and ideas including establishing mechanisms that became the feeder to EXCOM on the pulse of the company, earning her international acclaim. She has also worked for the Coca cola company and Lonrho Motors EA Ltd.

She has a strong mix of government and private sector experience leading her to be a Collaborative and decisive team leader, Adaptable and proactive frontrunner, able to establish relationships and build rapport with key external and internal stakeholders, and lead and focus teams towards the Vision, Mission and Values of the Organization
